Karl-Anthony Towns (1995): Towns was one of the best collegiate players in the country at Kentucky in 2014, earning him the top overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. The Minnesota Timberwolves made him the face of their franchise with that pick, and Towns came out the gates hot with a Rookie of the Year award. Towns’ has averaged 22.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.3 blocks in his 10-year career and won the 2022 Three-Point Shooting Contest, too.
Bob Dandridge (1947): Dandridge was the 45th pick in the 1969 NBA Draft but carved out a Hall of Fame career. The small forward spent his first nine seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, making three All-Star appearances during that span. He then signed with the Washington Bullets in 1977 and made his final All-Star appearance the year after that. Dandridge also finished fifth in MVP voting that season and helped the Bullets win a championship in 1979. He also won a ring with the Bucks in 1971 and retired from that organization in 1982 and eventually entered the Hall of Fame in 2021.
