Halfway through the second quarter on Sunday night, Chris Paul made a pass to Victor Wembanyama at the arc for a 3-pointer, marking Paul's 12,092nd assist in his career. This milestone assist moved him past Hall of Famer Jason Kidd into second place all-time for assists in NBA history.

After the game, the team presented Paul with a framed poster that included a list of every teammate he had an assist with to get to his historic number, and asked CP3 to give a speech — and an emotional Paul had to hold back the tears.
