On Monday, the Swedish Football Association made the announcement in a press release.
Sweden coach Jon Dahl Tomasson will have to do without Lucas Bergvall for Monday's match against Estonia.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Tottenham midfielder has left the Sweden camp and returned home to London.
According to the Swedish federation, it is a minor injury. No replacement has been called.
Bergvall has been hit by several niggling injuries so far this season.
